About Dr. Gray

Dr. Gray has established a reputation in the local medical community that transcends the boundaries that have plagued chiropractic and medicine in the past. By working cooperatively with his medical counterparts, they have been able to offer their patients the best of both worlds. Many medical doctors have been referring their patients to our office for natural health care treatment due to the results we've been able to achieve.

Dr. Gray was raised and has lived in many locales, but the Kansas City metro area is where he calls home. Colleges attended include Missouri Southern State University, Kansas State University, and Cleveland Chiropractic College.

After graduating with his doctorate in 1995, he established his first practice in Blue Springs, MO. After several thousand patients, and a lot of growing, he decided to open a new office in Independence, MO where he has practiced since 2003.

All that is well and good, but if you really want to know what makes Doc tick... it's his family. Married to his wife, Kathy, since 1992, she's been with him through thick and thin. Kathy may as well have gone through chiropractic school with him! She was there for all the late-nighters, all the tests, reports, national board examinations, etc. As office manager today, she helps keep the office running smoothly and efficiently so that we can provide you with a pleasant, healing experience.

With four daughters, Doc has been a pretty busy guy. They've all been active in sports, cheerleading, and everything else girls do... Doc's been coaching, sponsoring, assisting, or taxiing for years! But that's the way he likes it.

Dr. Gray is the Official Team Chiropractor for the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League. He is on the board of the Missouri State Chiropractors Association, and as an active member in the community, he has been a headline speaker at numerous functions regarding healthcare and business.

About Dr. Sonsiadek

Dr. Josh was born and raised in New Jersey, but has called the Kansas City area his home since 1998. His passion for helping people stems from the numerous reconstructive knee surgeries and lower back pains he suffered from countless soccer injuries he sustained in high school. He started his healthcare experience as a student athletic trainer in high school and college. He worked under the guidance of Dr. Margaret Dillon, a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Dillon helped him as a patient, and helped carve his passion for becoming a chiropractor.
In 1997, he graduated from Rowan University of New Jersey with degrees in Biological and Chemical Sciences. Upon graduation he took a position with a Belgian Food Science Corporation performing microbiological and chemical testing on food additives and ingredients. After a year of working in a lab, he realized he was being called to a higher duty, so he moved to Kansas City to attend Cleveland Chiropractic College.
During his time at Cleveland he served as a tutor for the Biochemistry, Anatomy, and Microbiology classes. He also served as an officer in Beta Chi Rho,a service fraternity. Dr. Josh received the Clinic Service Award for outstanding service to his patients, and was also named to Who's Who in America List. In 2001 Dr. Josh graduated Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
 
Upon graduation from Cleveland, Dr. Josh was fortunate enough to work alongside one of the great pioneers in chiropractic, Dr. Rolla Pennell. Dr. P shared his 50 years of experience with Dr. Josh in all aspects of chiropractic.  Dr. Josh attibutes his passion for serving his patients and making the patients the number one because of all the guidance he received from Dr. P.
 
After treating thousands of patients, Dr. Josh joined forces with his long time friend and colleague, Dr. James Gray, in late 2008.
 
Dr. Josh mainly attributes his success to his parents who have been his rock solid foundation who never game up on him, even if he wanted to give up on himself. He also attributes his strength to his 2 boys that serve as continuous inspiration to help and serve others.
 
Dr. Josh is a member of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association. As an active member of the community he has spoke to countless buisinesses on the importance of work place erogonomics and work-place safety. He has lectured at various groups and organizations such as the Lions Club and the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce on chiropractic's place in the healthcare industry. Dr. Josh also works with local sports organizations in the areas of strength, endurance, conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention.
